Taking home a friend:

It is our policy to send all animals home already spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with current vaccinations.

All dogs receive a heartworm test and are started on the monthly preventative or treated if necessary.

All cats are FIV/FeLuk tested.

After completing our adoption application, we will schedule a meeting for you, any children in the household, and any other pets that will interact with the addition to your family on a daily basis.

After PPAWSS feels confident that the chosen pet is perfect for you, you can then take your friend to their 'fur-ever' home!!!

**PPAWSS requires you to drive to Sulphur Springs to meet your new friend.**

**Please be patient. We are all volunteers who work full time jobs.
We will respond as soon as we can.
